Wazz Contractor is an innovative recycling company dedicated to addressing the growing issue of plastic waste in Mbale and Uganda. The company focuses on sustainable recycling of various forms of plastic waste, including polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, low density polythene, high density polythene, polypropylene and other plastic materials. Wazz employs an incentive-based model to encourage community participation in waste collection and recycling, thereby minimizing environmental impact and promoting a cleaner, healthier ecosystem.
Our focus is to create a sustainable environment by reducing plastic pollution, improving waste management systems, and transforming plastic waste into valuable products. Our activities are aligned with global sustainability goals, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
